HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, ALL MY FRIENDS HERE ON THE MASTIFF FORUM. FYI: In 1992 at the Barcelona Olympics in Spain, the heat for the 400 meter was ready to start. The gun went off and the boys shot out of the starting blocks like rockets. One boy fell and skidded across the surface of the track. A man stood up in the stands, leaped over the other people, jumped over the retaining fence at the edge of the stands, shook off the Olympic guards, and ran to the fallen boy still lying on the track. This man picked up the boy and together they limped to the finish line. Shouting, applause, and screams of approval have never since or before then been as loud at any Olympics as the shouting for this man and the boy. The crowd paid no attention to the other runners. The man was the boy's father. This is a father's heart. This is God's heart for His children, picking us up and carrying us over the finish line. We all have fallen.
