  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Such a difference!

LOL! I am rarely a jerk, unless someone mentions breeding (or thinking of) or actually asks. Pets are pets for a reason. Doesn't make them less valuable and certainly not to their owners. I try and keep in touch with my puppy owners but let them decide how much they want to. I love pictures and updates but also try to respect those that don't want me constantly bothering them asking for them.

These are sisters, in their "much" younger days...

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing! He did sign her over with breeding rights. Only my girl and the girl he kept, the other 5 pups were signed for no breeding. But I would never breed her. Two times now I have been asked if I would breed her, from local Corso owners I’ve run into. Neither one of them even pronounced the name right, but they were both “breeders”. No thanks. Also, I have absolutely no business even considering it. I have no experience at all! This is my first Corso lol I would be crazy to breed her. I don’t plan on ever breeding any animal, I’ll leave that for the experts.

I've got to say I'm not a big fan of cropped tails or clipped ears... thats just my personal opinion... not that I would every turn a dog down or away because they've been altered in any way.... a dog is a dog ... their here to be very well loved in my books. My wee poodle puff has her tail cropped. I still love her to pieces... and some days when Bella smacks me in the legs with her tail I wish it was shorter.... lol
Either way both Cleo and your Lettie are beautiful! Yes I do favour Lettie's look.... she's the pretty sister :p

It‘s really funny how these dogs change our perception of size. Some call a lare CC "pocket Mastiff", while others might consider it one of the largest dogs they‘ve ever seen. I can definitely see that happening. To me, a 100+ lbs is no longer huge. Very interesting to read about XXL dog products that describe a 75 lbs dog. I would definitely pay that debt by the way! ;)

Tyler I know what you mean how my perception of what is a large dog has changed... and I just had to buy Bella a XXXL harness for car rides.
Now these so called large breeds, Roit, St Bernards and like that don't seem so big now.... when we're walking with Bella these so called "large breeds "
stop and take notice of Bella... and to me they look like puppies.... Some of the owners faces is hilarious ... when I greet their pup like they where babies.
and when I have Sunny with us ... well that only makes Bella look even larger hahaha

They really do change how you look at size. It’s really hard for me to tell how big Lettie is. I mean she’s no EM but she’s still a mastiff :p. To me, she’s still just a regular sized dog. But then I go visit a family members dog that I used to think was large.... wow I’ve got a pretty big girl lol.

I found it funny the couple of times that I've met a Corso. My reaction was that that dog was much smaller than I expected. To be honest they are much closer to Jiggers size than Kryten's and I call Jiggers my little dog. Kryten really has changed how I perceive a dog's size.

3 girls sepia 2.jpg April (Well-known Member), you are a kind and loving person....glad you have that smile. And, by the way, I don't owe these doggies any money, treats, or kibble. Sometimes we mastiff owners think, in fact, that the dogs eat better than we do. Speaking of such things, April (girls named the same as months are special, you should know)....I notice the first thing on a bottle of headache medicine says, "Keep away from children." That may take away the need for the med !! (I taught elementary and high school students for several years...I should know.) Have a great day. Now I need to figure out how I go from "active member" to "well-known member" ??? Sepia pic---neighborhood kids (headache material)

Kahlua came to us with her tail pre-cropped and in a lot of ways I am glad of it. Diesel has broken his poor tail so many times by wagging it into stuff that it is permanently a little crooked and I always feel bad for him every time he does it. As for the "look" I think the full length tail is very elegant and majestic whereas I think Kahlua's cropped tail butt is just adorable. So I don't have a preference based on appearance just glad that Kahlua is spared breaking her tail over and over again.

Haha no, Pastor Dave, no money owed. She would probably demand treats anyway :) and on her collar it says “Lettie” repeated around the whole thing.

Nik- Lettie came to us with a docked tail also, so I feel like I have permission to love it lol. I love her little stumpy wiggle butt. If I had the choice, I wouldn’t be able to choose to have it done myself. But I am often grateful that it’s short. I hear so many horror stories of “happy tail”. Also, I get enough bruises from her now, I would imagine things would be worse if she had a weapon on her butt :p

Do I really owe her money....why the look? And why is your SS# on her collar? Beautiful coat of gray for sure. I think Mr. Chev wants to meet her...ah....maybe that's a bad idea.

Oh, I just looked at the picture.... that’s my phone number hahaha whoops

Beautiful, so lettie as got her dads look, her sister as her mums .
And i wish we could dock the tails over here, i cringe everyday thinking theyve hurt there tails, gollom as the knack of hitting men in the senditive area with his tail, iv never known a tail more powerful

I once had a bruise that took months to heal because it was tail height. I actually had to go on a vacation where I was away from him for a week for it to heal. That club masquerading as a tail is dangerous.
