10 lbs a month?!

Depends on the pup but I think that is pretty average, although some months might be slower or faster than others and usually they start to level out between 10-12 months so you might not notice as much of a gain these months

So my girl is almost 6 months and 67 lbs.... your saying that give or take a few lbs she will be gaining 10lbs til she' about 10 months?

Diesel was about 8 lbs a month consistently and Kahlua was a little less but Kahlua doesn't have nearly as much mastiff in her as Diesel does so I would expect her growth to be slower. I don't remember when it slowed but I think for both of them it slowed somewhere around a year old. But some months will be slower and some faster... just like growth spurts with human children.

Usually but there can be months where it looks like they have gained nothing and might be loosing weight but those are the months you typically get height or length. Each dog will vary 10lbs is a rough estimate some go a bit more and some a bit less.

10lbs a month has always seemed to work for my dogs ....... if they are running less than 10 lbs a month they're gonna be small 90-100lbs , if they're doing the 10lbs a month for the 10 months blackshadows is saying , they're going to be around 110-125 lbs , if they're doing more than 10 lbs a month they're going to be big dog (big as far as mine are concerned) 135-150lbs

I hear general 10 lbs a month is a good growth rate...10lbs for usually how many months???

From 3 to 6 months old our male gained nearly 40 pounds. It will have to taper off in a couple months... but for now I am amazed when he poops because it seems that he's turning all his food into dog meat.
Attached graph is in kg.
