4health is made by Diamond so keep an eye out of for any more recallsI feed mine, 4health Lamb and rice, plus some plain yogurt mixed in.
Vets aren't nutrition experts, they just push whatever food line sales rep gave them. Eukanuba is NOT a quality food, do some research and get a good one.
I've never heard of them before last night but the brand is on the Whole Dog Journal list for 2012 and will be in my guide as wellVet Choice is a brand. I was poking around their site last night and it looks to be decent quality, too.

Get him off it ASAP but you need to transition slowly from the old food to the new.?I have 6 months english mastiff..I feed him with dog chow.
Have you tried her on raw chicken? I'm only asking because many dogs who have issues with chicken in kibble do fine on raw. My EM has chicken kibble issues but she's fine on the occasion where she gets raw chicken. Just something to think about! We have a 5 month girl on Natural Balance Duck and Potato, not part of the recall. It's minerals are within the recommended levels and has helped her tummy greatly. She is growing nice and slowly, as all em's should. She has chicken issues, so we were unable to feed raw (beef/pork/lamb are too expensive alone for every meal). Just don't forget to look at each label and study your brands. Good luck and know that everyone's suggestions are meant to help. Fur-babies vary, so there is not an only one right answer.
