Beds - what does your dog sleep on

I too will be curious to hear how it holds up. We've tried beds inside Tali and Sid's kennels, but they are usually only in there when we're out and they trash them in no time.

We've been really lucky Angus has been very gentle with his beds. Stuffed toy are a different story!

Kitchen floor or sofa. He's a destroyer of beds so I've got a sofa cushion in the bedroom

The only bed jack didn't destroy is our black leather couch - black like him, we can't even see him in there. He's religiously cleaning and "maintaining" it. It was his favorite spot since he was a puppy. The girls sleep in the crate because they eat - and swallow - absolutely everything, including the plastic trays of the crates.

Hahaha. We've started leaving the girls out at night and they either sleep on the floor or one of their dog beds. Since we've been leaving them out Bella has really embraced the idea of only getting on the couch when invited. Sage can jump into my Traverse but can't figure out how to get her ass up on the couch.

I took an inexpensive full foam twin mattress and cut it. 2/3 and 1/3. I made a pillow case type cover for both. Bo gets the little one and Max gets the big one. The mattress is about 12 inches thick, doesn't compress down like the shredded foam and it cost 99 dollars for both bets. The covers were made from fabric I had laying around in my sewing room. I cut it like butter with a long serated bread knife. When my husband isn't paying attention, I'm going back for another one to make the cushions for in the crates.

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum, but I would like to express their opinion on the beds. I recently purchased here for your dog Monica excellent bed Brentwood 4-Inch Gel Memory Foam. It has pamatyu to help my dog to avoid pains. And the price is reasonable $ 83.68. So I recommend

Update on the Big Barker we got for Angus. He won't sleep on it now that summer is here, just too warm. The other furry family members love it though.

It seems this dog cushion bought at crazysales is quite small to my Max, but she loves it. This type is one with matress inside. It is a better choice of bed for elderly dogs. It provides extra cushioning for the feeble joints. Despite the shape is not roomy, it is great. BTW, I love cushions as dog beds, because they are available for me to set in any places in my home, and easy for cleaing, even in washing machine.

I made a custom bed using memory foam layers purchased at WalMart wrapped in zipped sheets. The sheets are easy to pop off into the wash. I used triple layers of foam. He liked his crate version so much I made a 2nd version (longer for the room he spends time in during quiet time. My dog is far to long for anything I found on the market, and it seems to stay clean and odor free.

Just recieved an orthopedic bed for my EM I ordered from www.ecodaisy.ca. good price and the quality is fantastic. Good site too for those of us in Canada as we don't have to pay in US currency!

My dog sleeps with me in my bed. He does have a little man cave that I keep on the floor of my bedroom. Sometimes he goes in there when he wants to be alone. LOL.

She sleeps with me.... When all the dogs were here, they slept with me or their mom in the next room. But in the mornings, my bed erupted in fur happiness. Mom/Gramma was awake and the day was Fur-Happy, which meant I must be covered/owned/fought over by the fur of my life. Simply magical and very difficult if one is balancing a coffee cup...very, very, difficult.

Now, it is usually just Bailey. 120 pounds of dog sharing (hogging) a double bed. My husband, saintly man that he is, moved to the second bedroom and sanity.
